 	<title>ENGINE STRETCHES FOR FIRE ON FORTH FLOOR WITH ONE BURNED</title>

 <![CDATA[As Engine 121 was returning to the station from a medical call, they were picked up&nbsp;on box 18-13A&nbsp;for an AFA at the senior apartments at 7900 Benesch Cir. Engine 181 arrived on the scene of a 4 story senior apartment with nothing showing. Upon investigation the crew from E181 and Quint 30 reported a sprinkler activation and moderate smoke on the 4th floor. The lieutenant from E181 confirmed a working fire and reported one burn victim. Engine 121 may its way to pick up the standpipe connection on the charlie side, the crew was dropped off on side alpha and started to make the climb to the 4th floor. The crew of E121 made their way to the fire floor and stretched the 150'&nbsp;standpipe pack. With the victim in the hallway, a firefighter from E121 and a firefighter from E181 carried the victim to the third floor where they met EMS crews. With sprinklers holding the fire in check, the lineman from E121 extinguished some hot spots and hydraulically ventilated the apartment. PM18 transported the victim&nbsp;to awaiting MSP helicopter, Trooper 1 went priority 1 to Bayview with the patient having 2nd and 3rd degree burns to 70% their body. At the height of the incident a second alarm was called but placed in service shortly after. As investigators were doing the investigation, E121 picked up and returned to service at 2103 hours....]]>

 <![CDATA[At Approx. 0320 hours the Rescue Squad was dispatched for a reported townhouse fire in Company 13's first due. E131 arrived to find an 8 unit townhouse row with two units heavily involved with fire on the delta end of the row. Squad 12 (FF Perdue) with 5 personnel arrived second and assisted with putting multiple lines in service. Three members from the Squad assisted 13's lineman with stretching into the B1 exposure building while the Squad Driver and other firefighter pulled a second line and took it in the fire building which was the end of the row. All units on the 1st alarm put a quick knock on the fire before 2nd alarm units arrive. Squad was out for 3 hours before going ready....]]>

 <![CDATA[At&nbsp;1327 hours, Fire Alarm started to receive&nbsp;numerous 911&nbsp;calls reporting a large black column of smoke in the area of 8237 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd (Redmond's Junkyard) in the 30-18 box. E122 was picked up&nbsp;on the street as the 3rd due engine company. As Units approached a large column of smoke was visible from the area of Redmond's junkyard. Quint 30 arrived first with several cars and a pile of tires well off next to the building. Quint 30&nbsp;dropped their line at the front gate and had E122 pick it up and complete the split lay. The firefighters from E122 pulled a 2ND attack line from the Quint and backed-up helped put a quick knock on the fires. Command held units for about an hour&nbsp;for&nbsp;mop-up and Engine 122 cleared at 1434 hours.&nbsp;

Chief 12 added himself to the call and arrived first to find what appeared to be a crushed car and a tractor trailer on it's side. &nbsp;A quick assessment provided the truck was hauling scrap metal and the car was part of the load. &nbsp;There were no injuries.  <![CDATA[At 2028 hours Fire Alarm dropped the box&nbsp;for&nbsp;3 Admiral Rd&nbsp; in the 2303 box for a reported&nbsp;attic fire. Engine 122 w/ 7&nbsp;(2nd due), Paramedic 12 and Chief 12 were all on the street in under a minute. Chief 12 arrived on the scene first with nothing showing and established the command. Chief 12 updated the status to smoke showing as Engine 122 was dropping the supply line from Admiral Rd and Rt.648. Engine 122 arrived on the scene and assumed first due engine responsibilities and ran a 200' hand-line through side A. The captain from Engine 122 confirmed a working attic fire. Quint 23 arrived and laddered the dwelling. As the captain and lineman from E122 were extinguishing the fire in the attic, the remaining crew opened up the first floor to check for extension. Minor extension was found and extinguished Command placed the fire under control and held it with Co's 12 and 23. The units from 12 returned to service in just over an hour....]]>
